Missing Bride Found Alive in New Mexico - Yahoo! News
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A Georgia woman who vanished just days before her wedding was found in New Mexico early Saturday after she called her fiance from a pay phone and said she had been kidnapped, authorities said. Jennifer Wilbanks, 32, was in police custody more than 1,420 miles from her home on what was supposed to be her wedding day, said Albuquerque police spokeswoman Trish Ahrensfield. Police were searching for a blue van with a man and woman inside.
Wonderful news for her family that she was found alive. I'm sure the relief they feel must be beyond words. Maybe I'm too suspicious after watching news, but........ doesn't this story sound just a tiny bit odd? The kidnappers got nervous with the publicity and let her go after only cutting her hair???????? Update an hour later---Yup, now they're saying that she chickened out on the wedding, and ran away. Cold feet.
The wedding, which had been scheduled for Saturday, was elaborate. The couple had mailed 600 invitations, and the ceremony was to feature 14 bridesmaids and 14 groomsmen.
Lord, now I understand!!!! FOURTEEN!!!!!!!?????????
