What Laurie did this morning

and yes, I was wearing underwear for this picture, folks!!
And Shannon and I managed to not get too artistic; sticking with a simple "yes" and "no" instead of going with our first instinct of a stoplight drawn on each knee, a green light on the right and a red light on the left.
Turns out the news from inside the knee was a little worse than originally thought. There was a lot of scar tissue that had to be scraped away, and they had to pound holes in the bone--I'm not sure why, something to do with the arthritis in there. I have to wear this medieval torture contraption for TWO WEEKS!!
They explained more of the reasons to Hubby, seeing as I was having a little problem staying in the 21st century. Blame it on the Valium and the Pink Floyd in the headphones - It was back to the 70's for me! @-)
Hopefully, the Vicodin continues to work as well--pretty achey (ache-y?) right now...
