CNN.com - Woman, 104, takes man, 33, as husband No. 21 - May 2, 2006
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- A 33-year-old man in northern Malaysia has married a 104-year-old woman, saying mutual respect and friendship had turned to love, a news report said Tuesday. It was Muhamad Noor Che Musa's first marriage and his wife's 21st, according to The Star newspaper, which cited a report in the Malay-language Harian Metro tabloid.
TWENTY-ONE marriages??????? I can't even remember being 21 anymore!! But at least she did it the old-fashioned way--one at a time. This woman, on the other hand.... CNN.com - Here comes the bride, there goes their money - May 3, 2006
ROSEVILLE, Michigan (AP) -- Police say a 46-year-old woman was married to three men at once, and they may be just part of a trail of at least 15 husbands and several swindles. A judge on Wednesday was expected to decided whether Kyle McConnell should face trial on felony polygamy charges. "She told me she only had been married once, but I found out I was only one sucker in a bunch," said Douglas Rice, who said he met McConnell on the Internet last summer and married her a few months later in a civil ceremony.
I think...no, I know..that this would be waaaay too confusing for me.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A full-time stay-at-home mother would earn $134,121 a year if paid for all her work, an amount similar to a top U.S. ad executive, a marketing director or a judge, according to a study released Wednesday.
I like the idea of a pay raise to not make paper! And then i read this paragraph:
A mother who works outside the home would earn an extra $85,876 annually on top of her actual wages for the work she does at home, according to the study by Waltham, Massachusetts-based compensation experts Salary.com.
Even better! Doubling my earnings for what I do anyway? Where do I sign up? How goofy can these studies get? Although everyone knows what value a stay-at-home parent would be, is there seriously anyone who thinks it's possible to put a dollar value on it?
"Every husband I've ever spoken to said, 'I'm keeping my job. You keep yours.' It's a tough one," said Gillian Forrest, 39, a stay-at-home mother of 22-month-old Alex in New York. "I don't know if you could put a dollar amount on it but it would be nice to get something."
I would have given anything to have been able to do it. Pay or no pay. I consider anyone who was able to stay home, raise their kids, and center their family incredibly lucky. Incredibly lucky. You had the best damn job of all.

Yep, if you happen to surf in to sell me *v*i*a*g*r*a*, or a mortgage, or swampland in Florida, you'll notice that I am farting around with the templates again. It's fun to play in the sandbox. Even got the stupid sitemeter working again (fingers crossed. hope.hope.). I may have missed at least thirty or forty spammers!!! Testing, testing to add a picture. Not sure what to think of the blonde stuff yet. It's awful bright.

Of a Fire in a Field @ AMERICAN DIGEST
In a film of brief but telling moments, there's one moment towards the end where you see one man reach down and remove his seatbelt. In that moment you can sense that he goes from being a passive victim to a man who has decided to stand up and engage the evil that has taken control of his life; to take the controls back from thugs and the cut-throats and the mumbling fanatics of a wretched and burnt-out god. That man, like the firemen who went up the stairs, and his fellow passengers who attacked up the aisle in those last moments, became, in the end, one of the Americans who decided on that day and the days that followed, to stand up. Soon after, that man and all the others on United 93 went into the smoke of that fire in the field.
