Rant of the Day
Published on June 28 2006
Terry in Chicago, who I've been reading since he was just a wee weekly email list on Topica.com (wasn't that the name of it? Topica?), has a Particularly Good Rant up on the Flag-burning amendment, which missed by one vote being sent to the states for ratification.
I don't always agree with what he says--in fact, most of the time I disagree with his views--but he hit the nail squarely on the head with this post. Don't we have better things to worry about? I always thought that flag-burning was simply a very good way to prove to the world that you had nothing to say. And most adults have learned to ignore tantrums.
