JS Online: State factory jobs hit lowest since '92
Nationally, there are signs of an economic comeback, with initial jobless claims falling, productivity improving and factory orders mostly increasing. Still, Wisconsin's manufacturing positions were down almost 102,000 from the recent peak in August 1999 and down almost 39,000 since the recession officially ended in November 2001, government figures show.
