It was a difficult day for Rodgers, rated the second-best quarterback in the draft by many scouts, just a shade behind Smith. But more than four hours after Smith went No. 1, Rodgers sat uncomfortably in the green room - until Green Bay finally selected him at No. 24. "We were joking around yesterday about putting some money in the pool, to see who the last guy would be in the green room," said Rodgers, who starred at California. "But it's not so funny when you're the last guy in the green room."
The guy gets to go backup one of the best QB's ever, and he's bummed??? Wonder if he's grinning now?
