Illinois man seeks spinning world record - Yahoo! News
BURR RIDGE, Ill. - George Hood may have pedaled his way into the Guinness World Records book on Saturday night. The 49-year-old Aurora resident began riding a stationary bike at the Five Seasons Sports Club in Burr Ridge at 4 a.m. Wednesday and surpassed the previous record of 82 hours by 8:28 p.m. Saturday. He stopped several minutes before midnight after completing his goal of 85 hours.
And I have trouble riding for more than 40 minutes or so. Then again, I hate stationary bikes almost as much as I hate treadmills. I can NOT wait for spring. My Trek keeps calling my name from the basement.

Precor. If you have nothing better to do with your next couple paychecks, that is, lol.

They have a new/used equipment place in Wausau and I checked out a couple of machines last year when I was trying to decide whether to join a club or buy an elliptical. The Precor machines were verrrrrrrry nice.

There were a couple of other brands, but anything that felt like good quality started around $1200.
Alison & I have been thinking about buying an eliptical machine. Any advice on what kind to buy?
