That would be so much easier than school, wouldn't it? There's a reason that I freeze when I get in front of a camera--examples like this guy. Better to look like a deer in the headlights than to insert my foot that far down my throat.

Hey, I just thought of a good justification for persuing your education. Just tell "you know who" that your going to school, studying hard and trying to do well so that you won't get sent to Iraq! Ah HA Ha Ha Ha!!<br /> That's on of the thing I love about my Job. I have direct impact on the tools that our military members use. I always try to keep my focus on the fact that the job I do helps keep some Marine or soldier from harm. And also that the Marine or soldier is someones Son or Daughter or Mom or Dad.<br /> BTW I start my Critical Thinking class here in about a week. However, I always thought I was pretty critical of alot of things anyway.

I also forgot to mention--this new school/classes I'm in now are approximately 70% military, and most of the rest are firefighters/police/etc. A papermaker is *really* an oddball in this bunch. I think these people are going to be a helluva inspiration and a challenge to me over the next few years. How often do you get to be in a discussion with somebody in Afghanistan or Korea, after all?<br /> <br /> I don't mention that to you-know-who either, since he isn't exactly all that supportive of my school stuff.

I just heard on CNN that he apologized-- too little, too late, but that's getting to be the Democrat way....and I've always considered myself a Dem even though they've pi**ed me off enough to where I've crossed lines several times. Funny, but I'm getting a lot of flashbacks to 2004--must be the sleeping pills, lol.<br /> <br /> Anywhoo--you shoulda heard the "discussion" here that his apology sparked. Did you hear his back sliding 180 degree response to Tony Snows' critisizm of what he said. I cannot believe this idiot can be this stupid. I have met some of the most intelligent, focused, dedicated, patriotic and well rounded people in our military. Apparently, Kerry thinks that people only join the military out of desperation because they can't make it any other way. If he is the moulth piece for the Democratic party, I say let him keep shoving that large foot in his moulth until we can't hear anything coming out. Why try to make them look bad when they do such a great job of it themselves. ah ha ha ha ha
